The simulation allows to virtually recreate systems and infrastructures of space bases operating in the Moon or in Mars as well as related logistics support. Students of different levels (PhD, MSc, B.Eng., High Schools) are enabled to experience this framework developing specific solutions and integrating them into the Virtual World. Students, Universities, Industries, Scientific Associations and Teachers are cooperating in this aerospace challenges. SEE is characterized by the participation of internationally distributed inter-university team devoted to design, develop, test and execute the different components and systems to support simulated missions. SEE is coordinated by NASA and provides prizes and awards to the participants. In facts, Simulation Team at Genoa University was active since first editions devoted to support diffusion of most advanced International Simulation Standards and its representative serves in the SEE Executive. The Italian Teams coordinated from Genoa University have obtained several awards and prices along last years and the new team for this year just started to operate; if you are interested in joining please contact Prof.Agostino G.     March 20 , 2019, 15.30-17.30 Simulation Exploratory Experience:
    Add your System to Space Base Operations

    SEE Demonstration allows to observe interactively advancede models interoperating respect Space Base Operations. During the demonstration the Simulation Team Labs at Genoa University will be connected with NASA and other Universities and will simulate spaceguard systems against asteroids, satellite networks, exploratory rovers, astronauts, space base infrastructures, space logistics, shuttle systems, mining solutions etc. SEE (Simulation Exploration Experience) is an initiative coordinated by NASA in collaboration with major Universities all over the world and with Scientific Associations (eg Liophant, Simulation Team, SCS) devoted to create an High Level Architecture Federation of simulators to reproduce space base activities.

Simulation Exploration Experience (SEE) is lead by NASA in cooperation with Scientific Organizations and Societies such as SISO, SCS, Liophant, Simulation Team with support of many organizations. SEE is the evolution of Smackdown initiative carried out around the Globe since 2011 by the same organizations. The Sponsors involve leading companies in Interoperable Simulation such as Aegis Technologies, Pitch, VT Mak and Forwardsim. The teams composed by students in Universities and in Internship in Companies and Institutions develop the different simulators to be integrated in the SEE/Smackdown Federation based on HLA Evolved. During the different editions (e.g.Smackdown 2013) best projects have been awarded by the Scientific Committee.
