ABSTRACT
The paper is divided in a basic introduction and a dis-cussion of new and future methods of optimization and simulation. The introduction discusses actual architec-tures of complex information systems, which include optimization systems or modules. The opti-mization system is presented as an example for a prac-tical solution of optimization tasks. The second part discusses mainly Web-based applications.
