I-PIRATES: Setting up New Projects

This meeting is devoted to establish a summit for experts interested in driving M&S developments; I-PIRATES goal is to bring together subjects interested in establishing new joint projects and initiatives for business and R&D in simulation. For this reason this International Workshop is organized currently on specific proposed lines such as: Simulation Security and Intelligence, Next Generation in M&S Technologies, Simulation Professional Education. Final goal is to setup some joint project proposals; for achieving this results, it was decided to organize a work meeting point in the relaxing framework of Caribbean Islands with a timing that perfectly matches with two major classical simulation events:
  • I/ITSEC, Nov 28 - Dec 1, 2005, Orlando, FL
  • Wintersim, Dec 4-7, 2005, Orlando, FL


    • So just in case you plan to be in Orlando next december, we will welcome you in Bequia (easy flight connection from Florida) for setting up new opportunities and business in M&S.

    Only original contribution, written in English are be suitable for being reviewed by the I-PIRATES International Program Committee.

    I-PIRATES: A Splendid Location

    I-PIRATES will take place December 8-11, 2005, in Bequia, just few hours flight from Miami International Airport and provides an unique opportunity to experience one of the most beautiful Islands of the Caribbean.
    I-PIRATES will be held in the elegant and luxury “Plantation House Hotel and Resort” including Italian top quality restaurant; the site is a former colonial residence with long tradition in business/financial meetings, including Deluxe Rooms, Cabanas & Suites surrounded by an immense, fragrant tropical garden, in front of splendid beaches caressed by clear waters (www.hotel-plantation.net). Special arrangements for flight connections will be available for simulationists present in Orlando to Wintersim-I/ITSEC, while special flight rates will be available for connections through NYC, Miami, London and Paris.
