USING OF LISTECHNOLOGY FOR BUSINESS PROCESS ANALYSIS AT TRANSHIPMENT COMPANY JSC VENTAMONJAKS

ABSTRACT: One of the main tasks to provide a profit at the enterprise and to gain a success in conditions of strong competition in the market is providing of enough quality of services and reducing of expenditures. To achieve this goal the overall analysis of main business processes at the enterprise and also reengineering of them must be done. Used methods must ensure simultaneous participation in this research of both systems analytics and representatives of administration and management of the enterprise id est the process of analysis and reengineering must be clear and transparency. Therefore using of visually complex and difficult analytic methods is problematical. In this case a data processing systems structure analysis methodology LISTechnology (Ginters, 2000) would be used. Optimizing of surplus information links and critical management contours in the framework of IST-2001-33030 project BALTPORTS-IT at the JSC Ventamonjaks, which is the main liquid chemicals transhipment terminal on Baltic Sea, applying a multi-level approach providing by LISTechnology substantially influences a quality of management of each business process and finally it reduces of both service time and amount of possible errors.
