ABSTRACT
In this paper the authors applied the simulation and
virtual reality to model retail store operations and to
support decision-making by reproducing store dynamic
behaviours. The authors also developed a virtual
demonstrator to test the potential impact of real system
performance improvements. An experimental analysis
was also applied to the simulator to test reactions in
response to different events and to validate the model.
