Chiara Burlando was a senior student of Mechanical Engineering in Genoa
University; she have experience mechanical device design including
kinematics, FEM (Finite Element Methodology), dynamic analysis using professional
tools such as ANSIS(tm) and ProEngineer(tm) and SolidWorks(tm) and DADS(tm).
Chiara Burlando had experience in travelling around the world and participating international events such as ICAMES 2001 meeting where she presented a project about Data Fusion Methodologies and Kalman Filtering for Maritime Application; the project was awarded with the Second Runner price by an international committee competing against representatives from USA, UK, Germany, Italy, Turkey, Singapore, Macedonia, Bulgaria, Slovakia. She spent six months, during 2001, for her Thesis in TechInt Italimpianti, working on chain engineering for staker reclaimer devoted to material handling for bulk carrier and port operations; she is currently working in Commercial Division of Techint company. She participated in MASC (Modeling Applied for Satisfaction of Customers) project , contributing to data collection and analysis in cooperation with DIP Genoa University and COOP Liguria (the regional division of the major Italian Retail company). She participated in Availability and Reliability Analysis DISPOS in cooperation with Genoa University. |
She enjoies traveling around the world (she already extensively visited
USA, Canada, Europe and Asia) as well as playing guitar and tennis (togheter).
She is a member of Liophant Simulation Club
